I was born and raised in Philadelphia. During the 1940's-50's the city population had begin to decline as mostly white and middle class families left for the suburbs. Many of the houses in Philadelphia were in poor condition and lacked proper facilities, and gang and mafia warfare plagued the city. I studied hard. I studied in Psychology at Fisk university before finishing my education coarse at the Philadelphia Dance Academy. I also studied Labanotation, kinesiology and other dance studies. I learned how to be coupled with my ability to express a wide range of emotions. I persisted through challenges, for an example, I work successively through moods of pleasure, pain, and persistence,
